Teays Valley East Middle School 8th Grade Football

In 2008 a new tradition was established by the Teays Valley Middle School 8th grade football team. This tradition will now be carried on at Teays Valley East Middle School. The "Ironman Award" was created to honor those players and students who shine and persevere on the practice field, in the classroom and most importantly, as a person. Unfortunatley, at times, only a small handful of players get to exhibit their skills on the game field and get to experience the glory that comes with excelling at and perfecting their position. The "Ironman Award" will honor one to two players weekly who go above and beyond what is expected. Whether it be on the game field, the practice field, in the classroom or in their everyday life, these players will have earned the trust and admiration of their fellow players, coaches and friends for what they do and who they are.
